of the lesson
Hello,
students. Today we are going to continue our topic “Cinema”, and we will talk
about different movie genres. Then you will have an opportunity to express your
own opinion to the topic and discuss your favourite movies. But first let’s
check up the presence.
2. Warm-up activity
The first
thing for us to do today is to create a mind map. It will help us to revise the
genres you already know and to gather all associations you have.
2. Home task revision
Now we are
going to check the home task exercise to make sure you learned the grammar
topic “Relative clauses” well.
4. Work with cards
At the previous class we learned new words to
the topic “Cinema” and now, to practice them, I will give you simple task to do
in pairs: Look at these cards and in 10 minutes try to describe the movie
depicted without naming the its title so that other students can guess. (Use
words we’ve already learned e.g. director, soundtrack, world premiere, reviews,
script, supporting role, cameo role)

movie-preferences, that’s why I prepare another task for you. But first, please

movie-trailer? How often do you watch trailer and do they influence your
movie-choice?

called “Skyfall”.

group mates’ comments there, be ready to discuss these movies in class.

Today we
learned more words to the topic “Cinema” and discussed movie genres. You also shared
your opinion about James Bond movies and talked a bit about favourite movies. Thank
